Joe played at The Tin Fish Gaslamp restaurant before all San Diego Padres home games since PETCO Park opened in 2004. In June of 2022  The Tin Fish became Baja Rick's Cantina and the new ownership decided to keep Joe on in his official musical ambassador capacity.

As of January 23, 2024, that relationship has been terminated.

However, on March 28, 2024 Joe will play his pre-game show at The 207 Bar in The Hard Rock Hotel, directly across the street from Baja Rick's. Come and carry on the tradition started in 2004 of enjoying Joe before the Padres home Opener!
